Who Are We?

At Robi's our staff is not only friendly and helpful, but they are also extremely knowledgeable and experts in their fields. As our motto states, "Our Experienced Team and Fast Friendly Service Make all the Difference..." and it does! You can't get better quality customer service ANYWHERE.

Robi's: A History

Robi's is now in its fifth and best location in the old Nieman's Clothing Building at 100th and Gravelly Lake. We brought the first "one hour" lab into Lakewood in the early 80's. Along with our 30 plus year history with our camera dealership comes a vast collection of unusual oddities and accessories for cameras we barely remember. Robi's led the way into digital imaging and computer layout printing in the early 90's with custom scanning and restoration; we perform all of this in-house. Our current staff and management members are all geared up and educated in digital, ready to help with the ever changing needs this technology brings to the marketplace.

Here we are!
Tod Wolf Tod Wolf is the operations manager.	Jeff Mitchell Jeff first felt the pull of photography in the early 1980s. In an effort to improve his craft, he enrolled in photography classes at both Pasadena City College and Otis Parsons School of Design. Jeff then attended UCLA, taking photojournalism classes. Jeff has traveled to photography places as far away as Amazon River basin, the Uturi Forest in Uganda, the Kalahari Desert, and Bosnia. Jeff is also an avid fly fisherman.
Amber Ellis Amber is our Lab Manager, and Queen of Color. She can develop your slides, color match your prints, and in general -- perform miracles. Not only is she talented, she's also a nice, unusually calm person. She counter-balances some of the rest of us.	Dennis Clark Dennis is a fine sales person at Robi's and all-around good guy. We'd say more about him but he's a man of few words.
Crystal KuttnerCrystal is the queen of our repair department. She is happy, energetic, and nice all of the time, even with two small children to keep her busy at home! She's addicted to good chocolate and wine, is that her secret? We're lucky to have Crystal on our team.	Dawn Lockhart and Sophia!Dawn is now a former co-worker, and she's at home taking care of her new little bundle of joy. Sophia arrived on July 5th and is a cutie. Mom and baby are doing great! Doesn't Sophia have the cutest cheeks ever?
Gayle Burt Gayle works with Amber in our pro photo lab. She was a lab tech at Highline Community College and student taught darkroom classes -- developing and printing film. She's been interested in photography since the 8th grade! Gayle is a fabulous addition to the Robi's team.	Winfield GiddingsWinfield, our internet sales person, has been into photography since the mid 1980's when he received two Pentax Spotmatics from his Grandfather. The first roll through netted a prize in a local photo contest. Then he took the photography class out at CWA. (Go Tarriers!) Now he is working again with all that retro used equipment at Robi's in internet sales and thinks it is just so cool. (The new equipment is cool too!)
Thomas FergusonTom is the custom framer here at Robi's. The following is his artist statement: "I believe the strength of photography lies in the ability to inspire the viewer. I want to share the beauty of life through my passion for this art form. I want to show glimpses of peace and harmony in a world where images of war and conflict abound. I hope my images encourage and inspire you!"	Sara Jo Kinslow Sara Jo is a jack of all (well, a lot of) trades around here. She works with inventory, shipping, receiving, and our point of sale system. Sara moved here from California about a year ago and is not yet accustomed to our weather or the idea of liquid sunshine. If you see someone at Robi's in a floppy winter hat and huddled under a blanket when it's 60 degrees outside, that would be Sara!
